This is a guide that will walk you through the process of a full LunchClick sign-up.

Downloading the app

The LunchClick app is available for download on both the App Store and Play Store. Upon completion of download, it will prompt you to sign up with your Facebook profile. Rest assured that we will not post/share any thing on your Facebook account.

Collection of data

Personal identification will be required prior to responding to your first profile match.

For users in Singapore, it is mandatory to input your NRIC number, as LunchClick is accredited by the Social Development Network (SDN). LunchClick will pull all NRIC numbers and cross-check them against Registry of Marriage (ROM) records to ensure that there aren’t users who are currently married on the app. For those in Malaysia, Hong Kong, and everywhere else, users have to input their Identification Numbers for security reasons.

Additionally, regardless of your location, LunchClick also requires you to input your mobile number, so that we may contact you in the case of an emergency, and facilitate contact exchange when necessary.

Filling in your profile

Although we’ve been told time and time again not to judge a book by its cover, it’s human nature to do just that! To ensure that you’re getting maximum mileage out of your profile, make sure you use a flattering display picture.

Do make sure that your picture meets the following requirements

– Is a solo shot, not a group shot

– Is a close-up shot so that we can see your face!

– Is a shot where your facial features can be clearly seen (no sunglasses)

– Isn’t grainy, pixelated, too dark or bright

Other than your picture, there’s another thing that you need to take care of – that’s your date idea! This should be straightforward – just a short one-liner on what would be a good date will do.

Pro-tip: Everyone talks about cafes and coffee, so if you want to stand out from the crowd, definitely choose something else. Why not talk about your personal interests, favourite movie, or recent travel experience?
